The African Institute for Research and Sustainable Development (AIRSD.org) offers educational courses at a Post Graduate and undergraduate levels. Our Courses are aligned with South African Qualification Authority (SAQA) and are inline with National Qualification Framework (NQF) Levels. The courses are designed strategically to enable anyone across the continent to study them through block release mode, distance learning, online or in a blended mode. AIRSD.org is currently discussing formal accreditation with various Universities across Africa and also in the process of applying for accreditation with Health and Welfare Sector of Education and Training Authority (HWSETA).
The Courses will enable those who cannot afford to pay for formal education programmes but are passionate about sustainable community development to study through AIRSD.org using our scholarships and internships programmes. AIRSD.org will also charge a subsidised amount to student who can afford to pay for one of our courses. Learners who have extensive experience in community development but do not have grade 12 or senior certificate could be considered on the basis of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
